Quintex is the result of two generation « research » about cube puzzles. We explore all ways to assemble 5 unit cubes and carefully selected some of the more twisted to design that 3x3x3 difficult puzzle with only two solutions.
Quintex parts are all differents. By melting two cubes parts one can create 252 different problems. 3 cubes gives 3003 problems. 4 cubes gives 15504 problems and 5 cubes gives 53 130 problems.

Principle:
Try again and again as methodically as possible to avoid try always the same idea. There must be a solution since the puzzle come assembled.
Benefit:
Memory is particularly solicited to solve that classical kind of puzzle. Need to remember what is already try or not. Originality is also involved to try “unnatural” solutions. Finally The Quintex added value is in the no solutions problems. Some thousands of the 53 130 available problems have no solution. As in real life recognize what is impossible give opportunity to go further.

Quintex is the result of two generation "research" about cubes puzzles. With 36 colored parts including all 29 ways to assemble 5 cubes plus 7 extras, it's possible to achieve a wide variety of cubes (3x3, 4x4, 5x5) as well as parallelepipeds (up to 4x5x8).
Numbered puzzle
Subtle combination of amber, polished steel, ebony and oak, the Tamashido original series came out of Gataris workshop 2003. It's made of 15 copies numbered from 1 to 15.
It has lifetime free update policy*. All 15's copies of the original set can thus benefit all refinements brought by Tamashido regular production.
